Shop layout
Full width, or a filter column on either side. Plus how many products fit on a row.
Harmony Sound → Settings → Shop.

The column falls back on its own
Ask for a column and leave the widget area empty, and the shop goes back to full width rather than leaving a gap you would have to explain to yourself.
On a phone
The column becomes a drawer, opened by a Filters button. Stacked above the products, a filter column would push the first product below the fold, and nobody scrolls to find out what is down there.
Products per row
The setting drives both WooCommerce’s own count and the CSS grid. Setting it without the second would have changed nothing on screen — the worst kind of setting.
